This is a small hand hammered singing bowl.  Singing bowls have been used for centuries to clear energy blockages, boost meditation, and cleanse Chakras.  Played either by striking it or using a continuous motion around the outside edge (much like playing a wine glass), sound has a proven ability to help bring calm, centeredness, grounding and peace.
